Wolfpack Drop home game to Coppell, 11-3; Plano East Next
Plano West dropped its home game to Coppell tonight, 11-3. Wolfpack players Ariel Schachter, Cynthia Ng, Jamisen Cendana, Catie Kim and Adayah Wallace each had a pair of hits. Schachter, Cendana and Brooke Hilton each drove runs in.
The Wolfpack take on Plano East on Thursday night at West.
District Play
Wolfpack Fall to Marcus, 8-0; Flower Mound Next
Plano West had its chances early to do damage to Flower Mound Marcus, but was unable to capitalize. Marcus then scored three runs in the 4th inning and four runs in the 5th inning to break the game open.
Adayah Wallace and Catie Kim each had two hits in the game. The Wolfpack will play Flower Mound next.
District Play
Wolfpack beaten by Coppell, 6-3; Plano East is Next
At Coppell, Cynthia Ng was down to her last strike, when she smacked a bases loaded triple to get Plano West close. However, the Wolfpack drop their district game to Coppell, 6-3.
Senior Ariel Schachter was 2 for 3 in the game. Meanwhile, Junior Izzy Artnak also got in the hit column.
Turf Wars Tournament
Wolfpack Knock Off Eaton, 6-5; Coppell is Next
Plano West knocked off Eaton today in the final game of the 2021 Turf Wars Tournament. The Wolfpack are now 5-4-2 going into their second district game against Coppell on Tuesday.
Catie Kim, Ariel Schachter, Emily Jimmerson, Izzy Artnak, Adayah Wallace and MC Pollacia each drove in runs for West.
Plano West JV
Wolfpack JV Knocks off Lewisville, 2-0, Battles Prosper
Stellar games from Mikayla Baer, Cateryne Osoris Garcia and Madison Strayhorn helped lift the Wolfpack JV to 2-0 win over Lewisville on Saturday. They followed that game up by dropping a 2-1 decision to Prosper.
The Wolfpack open up District play on Tuesday at 5:30 against Lewisville.
Wolpack Split: Beat Kaufman 15-1, Battle Wylie to 4-3
Senior Emily Jimmerson ripped a bases loaded triple in the first inning against Kaufman as Plano West pounded out 11 hits . Freshman Carra Cleaves picked up her first varsity win.
Against Wylie, Senior Ariel Schachter's double in the third inning got West to within one run. And Pitcher Cynthia Ng threw another gem.

Plano West Softball is coached by head coach Mike Ledsome. Coach Ledsome has been at the helm since 1999. He has seen great success at West and continues to inspire the Lady Wolves both on and off the field.
